Something Navy Blogger Arielle Charnas Is Launching a Clothing Brand
After lending her call to the most successful influencer garb collaboration in Nordstrom history—over $4 million of products sold in a unmarried day closing September—Something, Navy blogger Arielle Charnas goes her very own way.
Charnas will start a D2C garb emblem sharing the call of her weblog while her licensing settlement with Nordstrom leads to December. Alongside her devoted 1.2 million Instagram followers, Charnas counts as buyers Rent the Runway co-founder Jennifer Fleiss, Box Group, and M3 Ventures. Plus, Vanterra Capital founder and billionaire Silas Chou pledged $10 million to Charnas’s approaching emblem. It’s already worth $45 million.
Charnas’s Achilles heel? No formal layout revel in. So she’s tapped Matt Scanlan, co-founder, and CEO of Naadam cashmere, to construct her design team. Zoom out: Influencers have marshaled their online armies to release beneficial apparel manufacturers, including Julia Engel’s Gal Meets Glam for Nordstrom and Aimee Song’s Song of Style for Revolve. Like Charnas, they didn’t want a Parsons degree to show followers into clients.
